The Chicago White Sox Community Fund is committed to helping Chicagoans reach their full potential by supporting nonprofit organizations with programs that focus on improving the lives of at-risk children and families. Since 2009, through the Chicago White Sox Community Fund over 850 grants totaling nearly $3.9 million has been distributed to community organizations.

PrintOver the last two decades, the Chicago White Sox Charities and the Chicago White Sox Community Fund have maintained a strong community partnership with Thresholds. Most recent funding was for the Thresholds Mothers Project that serves young mothers and their children suffering from mental illness and who are at significant risk of abuse, neglect, and increased likelihood of at least one type of developmental disability. Other programs that have received grants include our Supported Employment program, which helps our members find and maintain jobs and the Mothers Project’s Early Learning Center, our on-site therapeutic day care that provides a structured, safe, educational environment for children ages six weeks to five years.

We deeply appreciate the commitment of White Sox Charities and the White Sox Community Fund’s to supporting Thresholds’ young mothers and children on their path to recovery and adulthood.
