Clinical Services Thresholds provides a comprehensive array of clinical services for people with severe mental illness. Our members have access to case management, psychiatric care, group and individual therapy, as well as the evidence-based practices of Wellness Management and Recovery and Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment. Members have access to support networks that include social workers, case managers, psychiatrists, therapists and nurse practitioners, creating a holistic approach to recovery not available with most community mental health providers. In addition, Thresholds – in partnership with the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing – has pioneered a program addressing physical health care needs of our members through the implementation of nurse practitioner clinics at several of our sites.
Special Populations Thresholds offers clinical, housing, outreach, education and employment services to numerous special populations, including specific programs targeted to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, those re-entering society after incarceration, the Hispanic community, and new mothers and youth. In addition, Thresholds offers peer-to-peer services, teaming professionals who are in recovery themselves with other Thresholds members.
