Thresholds holds two special events each year to raise funds necessary to support our diverse array of programs. The Young at Heart event each winter gathers families together at The Field Museum, one of Chicago's most storied cultural and scientific institutions, for a night of fun that includes a vibrant silent auction, activities for children, a treasure hunt, entertainment and more. More than 1,000 people attended the 2010 Young at Heart event. Save the date for January 29, 2011 for the next Young at Heart celebration at The Field Museum.

The annual Golf and Tennis Benefit is held each summer to raise money through golf, tennis and poker. Nearly 300 people join us at a north shore area country club for a day of recreation, auctions and a dinner showcasing the great work of Thresholds.
